September Monthly Recap

I have to admit, Looking back at September, I am really proud of myself! (To arrogant?)

I ran 126.6 miles in September.

I ran more in September, than in any other month in my adult life.

I ran more in September than in any TWO months combined since I have started tracking it in Runtastic over a year ago.

And What else?   I ran the longest I have ever run (well, until my 20 mile run this weekend, followed by the Marathon on Oct 27th) at one shot when I did 18 miles.

Oh, and I ran my first Half Marathon (AUTO PB!!!!)  and did it in less than 2 hours.

I also dropped 3 pounds in September.

I have to say.. September was pretty incredible.  Yet, October looks to be AMAZING as well!!!  Only 24 more days until the Marine Corps Marathon!

I run, because I am a runner. Having realized that I have always "been a runner" - even when I went years with out running, I am learning how it has integrated itself in all aspects of my life. When I started running in highschool, my perspective on life changed. Funny that I didn't realize how much it had affected it until just recently.

  1. Amazing! Great job, keep it up. I only ran 111 miles in September but like you it was by far my best month ever in every way. It is so great to be able to share these kind of successes.
