Accepted for 2014 Credit Union Cherry Blossom

I had the following in my GMAIL box yesterday!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note: You may have already received a receipt from MarathonGuide.com – this is your official confirmation and followup.
Dear Once and Future Runner:
Congratulations! You have been chosen in the lottery and are officially registered for the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run on April 6, 2014. We are looking forward to a spectacular day in the Nation’s Capital.
If you haven’t already, you’ll receive an additional email from Marathonguide.com, our registration provider, outlining your credit card charges. Please note that the charges will show as being from “Marathonguide.com” on your statement.
If you did not enroll in our free ten-week Online Virtual Training Program for the 10 mile or our On-site Training Program hosted by Potomac River Running, you will have an opportunity to sign up in January.
As part of your registration you selected:
Standard Shirt: Yes, Unisex Large
Shirt Upgrade: No
Finisher Medal: Yes, Standard
Carbon Offset: No
Packet Delivery: No
Personal Coaching by Potomac River Running: No
If you would like to add any additional items to your registration, please visit the Purchase Additional Items Form.
Your next communications from the Organizing Committee will be a series of email messages starting in January and an email confirmation containing your bib number and final instructions by mid-March. You must bring this confirmation with you to pick up your bib number either on Friday or Saturday at the Health and Fitness Expo at the National Building Museum. There is no packet pick-up on Sunday. In the meantime, please check the event website, www.cherryblossom.org for the latest news, including information about hotel reservations at our official race headquarters hotel, The Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel.
If you are registered in the 10 Mile and before race day you feel that you will not be able to complete the course in less than our cutoff time of 2 hours and 20 minutes (net time), you will have an opportunity to switch to the 5K Run-Walk. There will be strict enforcement of the cutoff time.
If you find that you cannot run the race, you may transfer your number during our official transfer period between February 1, 2014 and February 28, 2014. Details will be posted on the event website and included in a future email.
If you know of someone who did not sign up for the lottery or did not gain entry through the lottery you might suggest that they become an Official Online Fundraiser for our Official Event Charity, the Children’s Miracle Network. He or she will be assured a spot on the starting line and will feel good about helping children receive vital medical care. For details about becoming an Online Fundraiser, click here:
Sincerely,
Phil Stewart
Event Director
About
I run, because I am a runner. Having realized that I have always "been a runner" - even when I went years with out running, I am learning how it has integrated itself in all aspects of my life. When I started running in highschool, my perspective on life changed. Funny that I didn't realize how much it had affected it until just recently.
