So, Thanksgiving was awesome… So was the week preceding it where we went up to Boston for an incredible wedding of my Cousin Alex, and his beautiful bride Rinata. We did get to see some incredibly awesome historical items as well ( such as Paul Revere’s Grave!) Not to great on the eating health/working out part, but the other parts – like eating junk, drinking beer at the Samuel Adams brewery and then stuffing my face for the entire time I was at Mom and Dad’s (not just thanksgiving, but also before.. She made homemade Macaroni and Cheese!!!!!)
In fact, in the 10 days we were gone, the only form of exercise I did was the Pete Keye’s Turkey Trot. Its all good though.
This week brought my wife and I back to LA Fitness in Crofton. As you can imagine, our Personal Trainer Rachel showed us an immense amount of sympathy yesterday morning when we returned to her domain…
Ok.. Maybe not. She worked us until our Triceps were at muscle failure, and our chest muscles were awfully close. It was pretty awesome. Today my chest is letting me know it was an excellent workout, with my shoulders and tri’s chiming in for good measure.
I just found out there is an LA Fitness not to far from my Son’s choir location – so I can drop him off and go work out on choir nights. It will also let me try out another one of the chain!
So.. BAck at it.. Had some folks ask me to post some more, so apparently people do (or at least did!) read my blog! This last year has been mellow, with just some time running with my son. This next year? The Baltimore Marathon!
Good to see you writing again 🙂
Why thank you! My goal is 3 posts a week… And to do enough interesting things to justify it. 🙂
