So what is the St.Michaels Running Festival?
It is a charming race-place in one of the oldest waterfront towns on the Chesapeake Bay.. It has shops along main street – but most importantly:
It has the flattest, fastest USATF half marathon in the region!!!!!
Since its early, and you may have not had your coffee yet – this means PRs for everyone!!! (OR at least really good odds of getting one!)
The SMRF isn’t just a half marathon, but also a 5k (which the website describes as going “down gorgeous country lanes, traverse our breath-taking rails to trails runners path and finishes right in downtown St. Michaels at the runner’s after party!”
There is also a 1k Kids fun run, so you can tell your spouse that its family entertainment!
It’s a beautiful race, with great people and a fantastic post-race party.
