I Remember.

12 years ago, I was working help desk at a small company in Upstate NY.  One of our analysts was on the phone with a customer in NY, and that was how we heard about it. As we continued to work, we got further updates – as many of our customers were in the NY area.

We turned up the radio, and monitored the internet for as much information as we could, as we sat there in fear and in horror.

Today I am not going to post about running.  Today? I remember.

I will also share with you the link to CNN’s 9/11 memorial. —– <HERE>

Where were you when you heard?

I run, because I am a runner. Having realized that I have always "been a runner" - even when I went years with out running, I am learning how it has integrated itself in all aspects of my life. When I started running in highschool, my perspective on life changed. Funny that I didn't realize how much it had affected it until just recently.

I was on holidays in Austria at a camping ground where a Frenchman who spoke no English tried to explain it to me, an Australian who speaks no French so we used the Austrian camp ground owner as a translator. I never saw the TV footage nor really knew what happened until I got home weeks later.
