This last week, I had moved my 20 mile run to Monday, as the weekend had involved an out-of-town amusement park trip. This put me in an interesting position, as I had 20 miles on the very first day. With my 30 mile weeks that were on the schedule – it this put me in line for my very first 50 mile week.
Oct 7th – 20 Miles
Oct 9th – 5 Miles
Oct 8th – 9 Miles
Oct 13th – 16 Miles
Amazing! That absolutely blows my mind!
It is amazing to me, that at the beginning of this training, 10 miles was a loooooong run to me. Now? I did two days with over 15 miles in a week!
Marathon training definitely changes you.
