So, Janathon Day 6 – a rest day for my legs! it also happens to be Tuesday Morning, which is the personal training day for my wife and I! I had not doubt today would be interesting as we had taken the last two weeks off (My wife has some back issues going on, and my hip needed to improve,) but our personal trainer was surprisingly kind. Apparently injuries bring out a more protective side! She was very careful on back/hip flexor potential items, modifying any exercises to ensure we didn’t
whine more get hurt worse.
But it was a nice chest workout, with a wee little bit of plyometrics. Between the injuries and time off, she really kept it at a reasonable pace and didn’t over-push us.
This does mean I owe a run of some sort (a mile on my treadmill most likely) before the end of the day – just to keep my run-streak going.
