#Janathon Day 5 – the treadmill

So, running on the treadmill means no cool multi-colored maps, or neat charts showing splits.

That’s it… that’s my picture.  I used the first tenth of a mile or so to warm up (aka set my music up,) and then set the speed to 7mph.
An 8:34 mile was an acceptable comprimise to my not-quite-as-tired-as-yesterday legs.  Boring as heck of course, running on the treadmill in the gym always is.

It’s Monday, and the Maryland State Boychoir is no longer on holiday break.  It’s to dark to run outside around the MSB choir building (to many areas I could end up in that I simply don’t feel safe after dark,) so the gym it was.

It was my first time in since New Years.  Crowded, but plenty of trad mills available.   Worked out well, and I love to see so many people trying to get health!

I run, because I am a runner. Having realized that I have always "been a runner" - even when I went years with out running, I am learning how it has integrated itself in all aspects of my life. When I started running in highschool, my perspective on life changed. Funny that I didn't realize how much it had affected it until just recently.
