Ow, ow, ow… err… I mean Janathon, Day 2 is complete! Yesterday I was suprisingly not sore, so I thought the same 3.3 mile route would be nice. The temperature was about the same, so I headed out in shorts and a jacket. My lungs felt much better than the previous day, and I was really enjoying the run. My legs were happy, I was happy!
After the kinks worked out of my muscles in the first mile, my legs insisted we were going to speed up a wee bit. Day two of being back an average of 8:37 a mile? Yes Please! My goal was 30 minutes, just like yesterday, though due to running faster I ran .2 further!
As the first line might have given away, my muscles are noticing yesterday’s fun. It’s not too bad though (I may have exaggerated a wee bit above), a short mile run today, followed by stretch should fix that right up!
